Heart Ribbon

Size of each ribbon: 1 1/2" X 3"

Colors:
1 - white
2 - red
3 - royal blue
4  - white
5 - navy blue

I used white felt, sprayed a piece of cutaway stabilizer with 505 spray and stuck it to the back of the felt and hooped them together.  I stitched out all the colors until I got to the last color, the satin outline in navy.  I then removed the hooped and trimmed all the jump stitches on the back, sprayed another piece of cutaway and placed it on the back and put the hoop back on the machine and then stitched out the navy satin outlines. When I was finished I just cut around each ribbon leaving about 1/16" of the felt around the edges.  This make the pins nice and stiff and then all you have to do is put a safety pin on the back before giving it away.  The extra piece of stabilizer gives the person something to "pin to" without putting the pin through all those stitches.
